What your studio's app shows you

A tour of the parent view: dashboard, schedule, events, videos, announcements and studio details.

If your martial arts studio runs on Dojo Tiger, you get an account of your own. It is not a separate app to install — it is the same website your studio uses, showing you the parts that are about your family.

This is a tour of what's in it. Nothing here needs setting up; it is all filled in by your studio.

Your dashboard

The first page after you sign in.

  • Welcome card — your studio's logo and today's date.
  • My Students — a card per child, with the programs they're enrolled in.
  • Milestones — how many classes each child has attended, and how far off their next milestone they are.
  • Today's Classes — the classes running at the studio today, with the current or next one highlighted.
  • Week at a Glance — the next seven days, showing which have classes.
  • Announcements — the latest notices from your studio.
  • Featured videos — anything the studio has pinned from its video library.

Schedule

The studio's weekly timetable — which class runs on which day, at what time.

It is the studio's whole schedule, not a personalised one, so you will see classes your child isn't in. Their own programs are listed on their student page.

Events

Two lists: Upcoming Events and, below it, Past Events.

Each event card shows the type — belt testing, tournament, seminar, workshop, party, open house — plus the date, time, location and description. If it costs money, an amber badge shows the price and a line points you at your Payments page.

Underneath, one row per child, with three RSVP buttons: attending, maybe and declined. If an event is for a specific program your child isn't enrolled in, the row says so instead of offering the buttons.

Some events have a capacity, and RSVPs are accepted until it's full.

RSVPing and paying are separate

You can RSVP without having paid, and pay without having RSVPed. If the event costs money, do both — the RSVP tells your studio you're coming, and the payment is on your Payments page.

Content

Videos your studio has uploaded — form breakdowns, curriculum, seminar recordings.

You only see videos your studio has shared with a program one of your children is enrolled in. If the library looks emptier than you expected, that is usually why, and the studio can change it.

Announcements

Notices your studio has published, newest first. The most recent ones also appear on your dashboard.

Studio Details

Your studio's logo, name, email, phone, address and business hours. Useful when you need to ring them and the number is on a fridge magnet somewhere.

Payments

Cards you've saved, anything you can pay for right now, your monthly billing if you're on it, and everything you've paid.

It has its own article: Paying your studio.

What you can't do from here

Your account shows your own family, and nothing else. In particular:

  • You can't see other families, the roster, or anyone else's payments.
  • You can't take your child off a program or change their tuition — ask the studio.
  • You can't cancel or pause monthly billing yourself. That is deliberate: your studio makes those changes for you. Ask at the desk or email them.

If something looks wrong

Almost everything on these pages is entered by your studio: class times, event details, your child's program and rank, and what you're charged. If any of it looks wrong, the studio is who to tell — nobody at Dojo Tiger can change your studio's data for them.
